We
got the best of all worlds from the housemates. The Artists,Laveda’s
team, gave us drama and music with a story about an African king and his
son. Their show gave them an opportunity to display a variety of
musical styles from relevant rap to show tunes they wrote themselves.
In an exciting display of colour they tore up the stage singing You Got the Energy, which they certainly did! Every housemate in the team got a chance to take centre stage and they incorporated their individual skills seamlessly into their show. To top it all, it was an original hotshot production, and each housemate glowed with pride.

Not to be outdone, The Intellectuals
(Sheillah’s team), poured on stage with their own creative contribution.
Showcasing their strength for great choreography and story-telling,
they created an aura of tension and drama through their performance and
musical drama, heightened by versatile costumes. They made great use of
all their props, showing off their creative verve, and even managed to
put their comedic skills to good use and combined it with a dark tale.
The shows were not without hiccoughs,
but all the housemates had a lot of fun and it was heartening to see
them raise the curtain and give Africa every ounce of energy they had.
Whatever happens after tonight, the hotshots have raised the roof, as
well as the bar of the game. Tempers will flare and we can’t wait to see
what Biggie will do about the ensuing elation and confrontation that
come with post-production blues!
